Mindfulness for Mums

On the last blog, I talked about what mindfulness is; being aware of what we do when we do it. We don’t need to find extra time in our already busy days to practice mindfulness, if you can be aware of the feeling of weight of a hairbrush in your hands  then you are already practicing meditation. To help you learn this and to help you develop your own mindfulness practice from this blog and continuing on, we will be offering you tips to build-your-mindfulness-practice. DIY: Contact paper art
First I placed the contact paper on the wall, sticky side out, where Felix could reach. I secured it all around with tape and then I added the washi tape to create a cute boarder. We gave the wall a little touch so he could feel that it was sticky. I then gave him his craft supplies and modelled how to stick them on. He liked sticking everything on, but he LOVES, taking all the pieces off. We left it up for him to look at and every day it gets a little more bald.
