Hallo Hallo!
My name is Celine (hence the title) and I'm one of the shop assistants here at Edith & Blanche. If you've ever popped into the store for a browse or a recommendation, there is a big chance we've met!
As you can probably imagine, I am a huge fan of our shop products (a slight concern for my wallet at times), therefore the lovely Michelle asked me to make a blog featuring my own personal favourite items from the sales!
After thinking over what I've bought for my friends babies, my own toddler and his little group of friends; I have managed to narrow down my list to the below 5 items. My list includes easy wear clothing that I find myself reaching for over and over again when wrestling my toddler in the mornings, and which are currently on bargain prices!! Then I have also included two of my favourite screen free toys which has kept my toddlers attention for an amazing amount of time (I could actually sit down to finish a task or enjoy a refreshing drink, what a treat!).
Clothing
When I pick clothing for my (nearly) 3 year old, I'm a big fan of ensuring the item will wash well, feel comfortable on his skin, breathe to help regulate body temp and lastly I want the item to survive for another child - wether that is being put away for when I decide to have another, or for my friends younger ones.
Currently we love the Sleeveless Tank in Lilac, as it's simple block colour is easy to coordinate with most outfits, no sleeves allow for plenty of movement and little risk of overheating. It's also easy to layer on top of when the temperature suddenly drops and I can confirm it has survived several times in the wash without issue!

My second clothing item is the Dusty Pink Square Flares, these I cant get enough of - even just bought a pair for my friends little girl as she loved them so! They are a fun little statement piece, but still easy to coordinate with most other items in the wardrobe. We have truly put these to the test, so far they've survived park trips, lunches and the biggest of all - Nursery stains!

Now, I am entirely biased on the Little Knitted Leggings - Little Acre, these have been my personal favourite since we got them into the shop, if my memory is correct I may even have convinced Michelle to stock this particular motif... These leggings are super soft, a very generous fit due to the stretchy fabric and waist, they take no space when packed in the bag and work extremely well under dresses as a replacement for tights. Plus little rainbow legs are just adorable! I love these so much so that I have bought two more for my fellow toddler parents.

Toys
As for toys, I try to recommend based on the play area or space for the customer, as not everyone has a designated playroom. I happen to live in a teeny tiny 2 bed flat which has quickly proved to be too small for a toddler with an extreme vehicle obsession and a nana too happy to spend.
However, I forced a miniature kitchen - similar size to the Home Kitchen - upon our flat as I really wanted to include a variety of toys that would encourage imaginative play. And I must say, the kitchen though not massive, has been a hit. My toddler loves preparing meals and tea, but will also spend ages "re-organising" the pots and pans. He has also recently started playing shop through our kitchen baby gate which is where items such as the Mentari Bargain Grocery Bag, are great!
My toddler loves popping items from Dada shop (our kitchen) into his shopping bag, time and time again.

Lastly :)
In general I would recommend popping by for a visit, or browse the sale online as there truly are some gems at bargain prices. Personally I am eyeing the sleepwear section, both as my little one will definitely have outgrown his current collection by the end of this summer, but also for future gifts as I like stocking up!
Though not included in the sales, I do want to give a shoutout to our super cool sunglasses as they have become a personal favourite of my toddler, below is a picture of him very much posing to encourage more fellow sunglass fanatics to start their own collection!
