Have you meet Pigeon Organics?

Pigeon Organics are based in Oxfordshire and value creating beautiful clothes for children but importantly care about where their cotton comes from, who makes the clothes, who sells them and of course who wears them!

All the beautifully soft cotton used by Pigeon Organic is 100% organic and they only use a factories that follow fair labour practices.

Almost the entire Pigeon Organics range is certified by the Soil Association in accordance with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This certification covers the entire supply chain, from field to finished product.

The Soil Association is the UK certification body which certifies clothes in accordance with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards). GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a globally agreed standard to which the main national certification bodies have signed up. It not only covers environmental factors, but also social considerations by ensuring that all processors and manufacturers meet the minimum social criteria of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), covering employment practices, working conditions, pay, collective bargaining, and the banning of child labour. For more information about GOTs, go to www.global-standard.org.

At their Oxford base, Pigeon Organics are trying to minimise their own environmental impact, so all of our company’s electricity comes from renewable sources and they are currently in the process of changing to compostable bags for packaging.

The amazing quality of Pigeon Organics clothes means they can be passed from baby to baby and child to child again and again.

Pigeon Organics run several campaigns to help their local and wider community;

They send some of their spare stock to refuges supporting vulnerable women and their children in Oxfordshire.

Refugee support, they recently sent two pallets of spare stock to be used in refugee camps in Greece, under the guidance of the charity Everyday Refugees.

Baby Bank Network - Pigeon Organics support three Baby Banks in Exeter, Birmingham and Bristol with donations of spare stock.
